Two tips for jewelry care - so that your jewelry shines as long as possible
- Cleaning: All you need is a soft toothbrush and some warm soapy water. Use this to carefully clean the piece of jewelry, then rinse with clear water and dab dry. For pearls, wipe with a soft cloth after each wear. A water bath is also good from time to time. Place the pearl jewelry in lukewarm water with a few drops of washing-up liquid for about 15 minutes, then rinse with clear water and leave to dry on a cloth for at least 24 hours.
- Storage: If possible, store jewelry pieces individually in a container so that they do not scratch each other. Gemstones and pearls in particular should not be exposed to the sun or heat in general for long periods of time.
