We are very happy to have finally successfully completed our Fairtrade Gold certification with the audit in May 2021! For around three years now, we have been sourcing our Fairtrade gold from our Swiss partner Fairtrade Max Havelaar Gold, a non-profit organization that awards its seal of approval to products that have been produced and traded in accordance with the international standards for fair trade set by Fairtrade International. Now we are all the more delighted to have been recognized as a “Fairtrade company” by FLOCERT itself. FLOCERT is a globally active certification organization with locations in Bonn (Germany), Cape Town (South Africa), Bangalore (India) and San José (Costa Rica). The organization is the sole certifier for Fairtrade and also verifies social, labour and environmental standards as well as private codes of conduct/ethics. They support sustainable companies and make global trade fairer.
